Ta Bu Talk

Welcome to the Suite Space — a warm room for the real ones, the self-made, the legacy builders, the strong friends who always show up. This is our place to focus on purpose, to give ourselves a permission slip to play, to be “self-ish” (meaning: care for self), and to indulge in a little sista-ship with kinfolk who get it.

If you’ve been watching closely, you’ve probably noticed Suite Ta Bu restructuring in small but intentional ways. That’s no accident. It’s because I’ve been doing some soul work — and when you start asking yourself what’s next, it’s only right to create space to listen for the answer.

And for me? The answer came as one word: adventure.

In exactly 20 days, I’ll be boarding a flight to Bali for ten days of discovery, stillness, and awe before reconnecting with my fiancé in Senegal to extend the journey.

This is about more than travel. It’s about reclaiming luxury on my own terms — the luxury of time, focus, and soul-deep restoration.

Why Bali, Why Now?

Those who know me know my heart has long been rooted in adventure and the exploration of both Asian and African cultures. But what many may not realize is how deeply Asian and African cultures intersect — in pace, a reverence for spirituality, tradition, and the rooteness of how we live our daily lives. This trip isn't an escape. It’s a reset and a walk on a bridge between two worlds I deeply love.

I can already picture it: mornings draped in golden sunlight, the sound of the ocean, nights of intentional stillness — soaking in the unfamiliar like sacred oil for the soul

This countdown isn’t just mine; it’s ours.

Suite Ta Bu has always been for the believers — my "suite-sistas," the women who restructure their lives with trembling hands, who are determined to pass on legacies of purpose and power, who fiercely protect their joy.

As I prepare for Bali, I want you to prepare for your own reset.

  • What small rituals keep you grounded?

  • When do you know it’s time for something deeper — a trip, a retreat, a bold pause?

    This Is Only the Beginning

These next 20 days will be full of reflection, excitement, and shared wonder. And when I return? It won’t just be with souvenirs. It’ll be with vision — for myself, for Suite Ta Bu, and for us.

This journey is an invitation: Will you take this countdown with me?

    Who loves you?
    Me.
